Primarily designed for sailing in protected waters, babyCat is a composite catamaran intended for short excursion lines, city passenger transport and various tourist activities.

Electric motors, LiFePO4 batteries and solar power plant make the heart of babyCat, placing it among the most modern passenger transport vessels.

The solar power plant is integrated into the roof structure and follows the hydrodynamic shape of the boat, without violating the visual line of the boat. Solar plant of 7.5 kW ensures a daily autonomy of sailing up to 10 hours during the summer months at a speed of 5 knots.

The boat is equipped with two permanent magnet monitors “Tema SPM132 12 kW” for a silent operation. A bow thruster of 90 kgf for easy maneuvering is fitted in the portside hull.

LiFePO4 batteries with a capacity of 50 kWh provide the required energy for 8 hours of sailing at DOD 80%, and an extremely large life span of +15 years.

Charging batteries from the mainland and its own solar power plant provides a daily autonomy of 8 + 8 hours of sailing.

MULTIFUNKTIONAL DECK

A passenger deck provides outstanding sailing experience of 360° visibility and silence of the wind on the motor boat.

54+2 seats layout is designed for one day-trips and public transportation. Sightseeing, daily commuting or transferring are some of many applications babyCat can provide with this layout.

PASSENGER

Custom-made deck arrangement would provide a unique layout as needed for the educational purposes (schools, business, sports). Rear bulwark could be foldable to create a dive to swim platform.

SPORT/EDUCATION

Embedding bar, barstools and lounge chairs, trans-form a passenger deck to the ceremonial area for public presentations, VIP parties or private luxury boat.

SMART
BOARDING RAMP

The boarding and disembarkation of passengers is foreseen via lateral boarding ramp. The ramp overlaps on the shore or deck, depending on whether the coast is higher or lower than the deck. In this way there are no restrictions on landing, and catamaran is suitable for sailing to existing ports without any adjustment.

By simple boarding, the catamaran is intended for the transportation of a large number of bikes, whose accommodation is foreseen in the bow and stern part of the deck.

There are two crew seats, cabinets for storage, and all the necessary catamaran handling equipment, which makes navigation very simple.
