iCat catamaran has been designed as ultra-light zero emission passenger catamaran, applying newest technologies in hull construction and electric propulsion. Design represents a significant improvement in passenger transportation, enabling ship lines in the shallowest waters due to the low draft of the vessel.
With 2-3 crew members, vessel would achieve significant saving in operating expenses. Small crew, small consumption and zero emission, position this vessel as one of the best performers globally, from joint design between iCat Ltd, University of Zagreb and Končar Institute.

The ship is intended for urban sites, and as such is recognized and awarded by the profession and the public. "Metro" at sea offers the possibility of integration of passenger transportation into the city traffic network.
By changing the model of ship lines from "islands" to integrated, cities are getting their suburbs on the islands, avoiding road tides on the coast, and creating a new value of quality of life and tourist service.
