solarCat is a new electric passenger catamaran with an integrated solar power station. It provides sailing power sustainability due to the fact that it uses power from its own sources.

Therefore, it represents a significant technological achievement in comparison to other conventional vessels.

solarCat represents a social innovation which is able to face the omnipresent challenges of the modern society: the environmental aspects of sea, lake and air protection through zero-emission of harmful particles for the welfare of our planet, as well as the key aspects of health protection through significant noise reduction, given the fact that noise is often referred to as one of the most common stressors (ultimately causing cancer, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, etc.), with the aim of achieving the overall well-being of humankind.

Passenger embarkation and disembarkation shall be done through the lateral boarding ramp. It is situated in the central part of the vessel, thus providing an easy embarkation of passengers with special needs, along with their accommodation next to the wheelhouse, which enables quick and easy communication with the crew.

Big glass wheelhouse windows located on the right side of the bow provide a sense of transparency, thus eliminating visual barriers for the passengers.

The wheelhouse is equipped with all devices that are necessary for the vessel operation, two seats for two crew members and storage lockers.
